This is what Stephen made from the parts of his Piper Cub Sim (see prev. galleries). Its a modular Heli/GA type convertible cockpit.

The stick mechanism. He used the pots from his old joystick. This actually works. I've tested it. You can move the stick forward and backwards and also right and left. And it works also flying in flightgear (haven't tried the new helicopters yet).
